How to create Vista administrator password and is it possible to remove password?
Follow these steps to create administrator password
1. Start your computer. At the Welcome screen, click the account named Administrator to log in. If the Administrator account is not displayed, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE twice. This will open a login window.
2. Type "Administrator" in the User Account box in the Login window. Leave the password box blank. Click the "OK" button to log in to the Administrator account.
3. Click the "Start" button, then click "Control Panel" in the Start menu. This opens the Control Panel window.
4. Click the "User Accounts" tool in the Control Panel window to open the User Accounts window. In the User Accounts window, click on the Administrator account, then click "Create a Password."
5. Enter the password you have chosen, then enter it a second time to confirm. Click the "Create Password" button to complete the process.
And follow these steps to remove the password
1. Logon to your Windows Vista operating system with your current administrator password. Click the Windows "Start" button and click the "Control Panel."
2. Click "User Accounts" and click the "Family Safety" link. If you are in the Classic View of Control Panel, click the "User Accounts" option.
3. Click the "Remove your Password" link in the "Make changes to your user account." A new screen opens. Type your current administrator password and click the "Remove Password" button. Confirm that you want to remove your current password and close the User Accounts console.
And Reset Vista Password if you forgot administrator password
1. Download Windows Password Recovery Tool
2. Run the software and burn a password recovery iso to a cd/dvd or usb flash drive
3. Insert the nearly created recovery disk to the computer which you forgot password
4. Reboot the computer, and set the bios config to insure the computer will load from cd/dvd or usb
5. Reboot the computer, load the recovery software, follow the steps to reset vista password.
6. Take out the recovery disk from the computer, and then restart it. then you can login vista with a blank password.
